Getting your crypto project covered in top publications starts with submitting a well-crafted press release through the right platform. Bitwire makes this process simple and easy. Knowing the steps ensures your announcement gets the coverage it deserves.
Here's your guide to submitting a press release through Bitwire's platform.
Getting Started
The submission process begins on the homepage. Look for the "Submit a Release" button, and it will take you directly to the submission page.
If you're new to Bitwire, you'll need to create an account first. To do this, you will click the button found at the top right corner of the website pages called “Sign up”. From there, you will have access to our distribution network and can begin submitting your press releases.
Creating Your Release
After logging in, click "Create a Release" to begin constructing your release. This opens the submission interface that guides you through each step of the process (it's as simple as a copy and paste).
Step 1: Headline
The first step in the submission process is including your headline. Your headline is the first thing people see, so make it count.
Step 2: Adding Visual Elements
One image is permitted with your press release. Choose wisely because an image can speak a thousand words!
Here are the Requirements:
- a JPG format
- File size no larger than: 7MB
- Will be automatically resized and cropped to 16:9 aspect ratio
It’s as simple as dragging and dropping your image directly into the template. Make sure to choose high-quality visuals that effectively represent your announcement. If you don’t have an image to use, we will create one for you using your logo.
Speaking of logos, don't forget to include your company logo as well. This helps with brand recognition and gives your press release a professional appearance across all publications.
Step 3: Setting Your Dateline
The dateline includes your location and the date of your announcement. This appears at the beginning of your press release and provides context for readers.
Choose the location most relevant to your announcement—typically your headquarters or where the news is happening.
Step 4: Scheduling Your Distribution
Bitwire lets you select both the publishing date and specific time, along with your time zone. It is important to know your audience and the timing that best suits your needs.
Step 5: Writing Your Body Content
The body text section is where you tell your story. Structure your content with the most newsworthy information first. Lead with the key announcement, then provide supporting details, quotes, and background information.
Step 6: Review and Editorial Guidelines
Before submitting, review your press release and ensure you meet our editorial guidelines. This step ensures your announcement meets the quality standards expected by our publishers.
Step 7: Final Submission Check
This is your chance to review your release before distribution. Once you submit your press release, changes cannot be made. Once you submit, the content goes directly to our network for your scheduled distribution.
Triple-check every detail:
- Headline accuracy and impact
- Dateline location and date
- Image quality and relevance
- Logo inclusion
- Scheduled timing
- Body content for errors or unclear statements
- Contact information accuracy
After Submission
Once submitted, we take it from there! Our team handles delivery to their network of crypto publications, including targeted outreach based on your announcement's specific focus area.
You'll receive confirmation of submission along with tracking information so you can monitor your press release's progress through the distribution network.
